I think in the beginning, the process of adding pink and then slowly layering felt like I was trying to bring how I interpreted your image (sterile and forensic cyborgian specimen turned monument) back to life, but it just kept decaying instead. Every adjustment slipping away, like I was pulling something out of the grave or future museum only for it to turn to dust in my iPad/hands.
I feel a sense of weight and form and presence; something highly refined, deliberate in your original image and now it’s this unstable, flickering thing… still tied to the original, but a failed necromancy. I wanted maybe something in the transformation that felt like a resurrection in some ways, but I got something more like decomposition in anti-real-time.
